On 18th October Charity Trustees Steve Lawrance and Malcolm Crow were delighted to attend a special service of remembrance on board the Greenway Ferry's Fairmile launch. The boat headed out of Dartmouth harbour shortly after lunch, along the coast to Slapton Sands where a memorial service was held in honour of the men who lost their lives during Exercise Tiger. The day's events were filmed by Paul Potgieter of Heritage Media TV and he has kindly allowed us to make this film available via our website, using the link below.

With specially commissioned music, it is a very fitting reminder of those who gave their lives on the night of 28th April, 1944.

The Trustees of the Exercise Tiger Trust are pleased to announce the launch of the Roll of Honour section of this online memorial to the casualties of Exercise Tiger.

This 'virtual' tribute lists all of the victims in a searchable database, showing as much biographical detail as possible. It is our intention to eventually be able to create a 'memorial page' behind each listing which would give more details on each casualty. This is, clearly, a major undertaking and we are greatly in need of additional information relating to each of the men listed.

If you are related to, or knew, one of these men and have any documents, letters, photographs or other personal details which you would be prepared to share with us, we would be pleased to hear from you.

Please feel free to contact us to discuss the information which you have.  You may contact us via our online form, click here , or if you would prefer call us on +44 1243 219127.
