My father took part in Exercise Tiger - he had horrific memories of what happened and, like everyone else, was sworn to secrecy at the time. When the truth came out, he told us about scenes from hell, with men drowning needlessly as they had not been instructed properly on how to wear their life jackets and the sea looking as if it were on fire.

i am telling the story of exercise tiger on several forums. i do this because i want more people to know that this has happend. the most reply's are positive about me spreading this story. the most common reaction is: i didn't know that this has happend. i am planning to do a project with this as subjet. wich contains writing a sort of informative book about your subject. thanks for bringing this story into the world
